Ugly importer stamping of CZ-82 slide a challenge
« on: July 06, 2015, 12:23:13 AM »
Didn't know how lucky I was seven years ago when I bought three CZ-82's that had the firearms importer's stamp neatly tucked, and all but invisible, on the bottom edge of the slide. Thought about it tonight seeing a photo of a refinished CZ-82 looking really nice except for the failed effort to remove all traces of the humongously large stamp the importer had engraved on the side of the slide... no wonder criminals have a hard time removing all traces of serial numbers on stolen guns.

C.A.I. really butchers the slides in Georgia, VT.

TGI is much, much more discreet in Knox, TN.
