One hot day.....one shaky old man.......one pretty good rifle.  Geez....43 out of 100 does not sound very good.

Anyone else shooting this target this month?

Shooting with my kids and grandkids....that is a fine time.

Rip........We have had an exceedingly hot summer for the Pacific NW......many days over 90'.   That day it was 97'.....today here it is over 100'.  I went fishing this morning at a higher mountain lake near the volcano Mt St Helens....to escape the heat a bit.
Shooting with my kids and grandkids....that is a fine time.

Got out to the range with my CZ 455 PT 22LR to get a different scope sighted in Sightron 6-24x42. Had a heck of a time getting it on the spot as I ran out of clicks going up,. so then I thought count all the clicks to the bottom and then go back half and start again. Well there was 395 click from top to bottom and I ran out of clicks again so I had to improvise and start over. I got a 12ga shot shell and cut a shim from it and put it under the scope on the rear scope mount. Bingo I was back on track. I shot a round of CCI 40g SV, Norma 40g Match 22 and RWS 40g Special Match. Weather was in the high 90's, smoky and a slight breeze. After 3 1/2 hrs at the range I was starting to get dialed in at 100 yd and then call it quits for the day. It took a little over 150 rounds to get all this done. So next time out I will try to tighten it up some.
