After 400 rounds, it could just need a little cleaning.
If the malfunctions were with the same number of rounds left in the magazine, then the mag needs cleaning, too...or a new mag spring, possible follower.
My bet is it isn't the gun's fault NOR the ammo...comm block pistols just gobble up anything reliably. But, even the original factory mags can wear and need a little TLC.
Could be a bad lot of the Russian ammo, but that's rare, indeed...they produce reliable, if sometimes dirty, ammo.
