Can the CZ 75bSA be carried safely?
« on: July 27, 2002, 06:40:14 AM »
Folks, normally I carry a small revolver for Concealed Carry, but as I'm contemplating a semi-automatic, and leaning toward a CZ 75B SA in 40 cal, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to the safety and concealability of this weapon.  Definitely not as easy to conceal as my snub nose .38, but do you have any experience or cautions?  Any favorite holsters?  Would I be better off with a Double action/Single action as far as carrying is concerned? Thanks again for all your help, and please reply to rfdillon@hal-pc.org.  Thanks!

Hi..the SA can be carried as Safe or Unsafe as a 1911 or
H&K USP or P-35 Browning or any other SA pistol in cocked
n locked mode.

I carried my 75SA in a NULL holster..also a cen-dex
IDPA Storm model..same as my Cz75s.

I've never had the safety flick off during times of carry.
Bst bet would be a holster that has a strap to block the
hammer. Even though the firing pin would prevent firing in
any event..except you pulling the trigger with the safety off.

emial me with any questions. You will be very happy with the 75SA in .40.. very accurate.

The 75SA can be carried safely as long as you remember the primary safety is the one between your two ears. All people that I know that carry cocked and locked keep their finger off the trigger until they are ready to engage the target.
