Copperhead RAMI update ***2K Rounds***

I hit my 2,000 Round mark today, and a glorious day it was.

So far the gun has been rather flawless.  4 FTF in 2000 rounds, and I would attribute all 4 to being issues with my personal re-loads.

The gun is plenty accurate, carries "decently" (still searching for the best holster option. IWB might not be for me)
I have carried this gun at least 3-4 times a week since I got it several months back. Maybe 6 or more months? Not sure when I took possession of it.

The frame has some slight holster wear as evidenced by the photos, but I like to think of it as character :)
Trigger still seems the same, maybe slightly improved from use. It was fantastic out of the box, but I have not checked the pull on it since I got it. I keep reading that the recoil springs typically last around 800 or so rounds. Happy to report this is still the original and cycles great with hot and slower loads.

I finished up my day by putting 200 rounds through the CZ, some fast, some slow but all on target.

Cool as always. She's a looker for sure. 2000 rounds already? Time flies huh. Congrats on the success. Oh and it was march 6th when we were blessed with the first pics, if you were wondering.  ::) ;)

Word. Thanks.  So 6 months old.

Yeah actually the first 1500 came within the first 3 months. Its nice to have a local range and its true what they say about reloading. You don't really save money because you just go and shoot more often.

Have you tried a Crossbreed IWB... They are the most comfortable I have ever used.

No I haven't, I actually started taking my IWB holster and instead of putting it inside the pants, I put it between the pants and the belt.  It has been working out perfectly, I even drove 750 miles with it like that and had zero issues.

CGW. The refinishing is part of the "Copperhead Package" they offer.

Yeah, done by CGW.  Sorry I never replied to that, not sure how I missed it. I daily check the "replies to your post" tab...  Odd.

I really enjoy this gun though, I might order another in a different finish and just stick it in the safe for when this one wears out.  Not sure how long that will be, probably close to never but it is the carry pistol that fits me perfectly. I have had at least 10 before this one and finally settled on this one. I have had Glocks, Smiths, Revolvers from Smith and Ruger, I have had Sigs.... I just feel in touch with this CZ. It IS an extension of my arm.

So I'm just curious.Did you have to change out the recoil spring a couple of times in you 2K rnds?. I just ordered a Rami BD today and should have it next week and I just started reading about the recommendation to change it every 6 to 8 hundred rnds.

I've heard that. Haven't had an issue with ejection. Brass still goes about 4-5 feet away from me.
