Found a locking holster for CZ P07 Gen 2 that actually works
« on: October 02, 2015, 02:03:14 PM »
My CZ P07 Gen 2 fits really well in the Safariland 578 GLS PRO-FIT Holster (Compact) and it is the only one I have been able to get the lock to actually work, it's a paddle holster but you can convert it to a belt clip if you would rather.  Regular $54.99 in stores but found best price at LA Police Gear online for $34.19 plus $5.49 shipping.  It also fits in the Full size if you want it to work for other guns also but it is a little long unnecessarily for the P07.  Thought about getting the long to use my 1911 too but I didn't like how it fit.

Another well fitting cheaper option was the Uncle Mike's Tactical REFLEX holster Size 27.  Fit really nice but I wanted the lock for carrying through the woods un hunts.

Hope this helps anyone looking!

Thanks for the info. How do you go about converting it to a belt clip. Also, is mid or low-ride available?

Does yours have the shim installed?  Mine has the shim and it wouldn't work. Gonna take it out and try it again.

Hello everyone.
I want to buy safariland 578 for my p-07 2-gen. Some users write different codes. What code do I need?
Thank all very much.

I have the 577 and it works well for my P-09 as well. Its the only Safariland model I have tried where the retention lever wouldnt get stuck. I got one for my P-01 and it never worked...

Hello boss281
577 It's also a holster, but it's a different mount. But this holster has many models, for different pistols.
578-183-412/411 Sub Compact left/right blak
578-183-552/551 Sub Compact left/right Flat Dark Earth
And many many other models, for different hands, pistols and sizes, and all this is GLS ? PRO-FIT
I need a real user, who has 578 or 577 approached for P07 II-gen. And I hope this person will tell me "hey dude, you need 578-283-411"

I have this identical holster for sale in flat dark earth. Sold the CZ P07 and don't need it anymore. Great holster. Will let go for $80.00 + shipping. I'm located in NC.

I have a IDS Thumb Holster. Level II for my CZ P07 Kadet and it works and fits very nice.

They are sold in the US by the brand Orpaz Defense

The GLS are great holsters, I have a couple styles for various framed pistols.  I lost a few of the trigger guard spacers, called Safariland up and they sent me a baggie of them.

There's a ton of ALS (Appendix {thumb} Locking System) holsters for the P-07 too:
http://www.safariland.com/holster-search?dwfrm_holsterfinder_gunid=275506&dwfrm_holsterfinder_lightid=&dwfrm_holsterfinder_addonid=&dwfrm_holsterfinder_guntype=pistol&dwfrm_holsterfinder_manufacturer=CZ&dwfrm_holsterfinder_model=P-07&dwfrm_holsterfinder_barrellength=3.8&dwfrm_holsterfinder_caliber=9mm&dwfrm_holsterfinder_haslight=&dwfrm_holsterfinder_lighttype=&dwfrm_holsterfinder_hasaddon=&dwfrm_holsterfinder_addontype=&prefn1=gunList&prefv1=275506&prefn2=lightListText&prefv2=none&prefn3=mountListText&prefv3=none

These are specific to the P-07 and lock based off of the slide/barrel/ejection port and not the trigger guard like the GLS (Grip Locking System).
