I had been looking for a P01 for a few months and could not find any locally that someone did not want an arm and a leg for, so I settled on a CZ 75 Compact that I found for a good price.
A friend of mine told me that Cabela's had an used OD green P01. So yesterday, I went and looked at it. I ended up purchasing the used P01 OD with 3 magazines for $380 plus tax ($418 total). I think I got a good deal.
I would have preferred a black one but the OD green has grown on me now that I own it.
The bad:
2 out of the 3 magazines are factory 10 rounders. I live in a state that can have large capacity magazines, so I prefer to have the larger capacity. I will probably buy some of the extended 16 round magazines from Greg Cote and sell the 10 rounders.
I cannot start modifying it until I finish modifying the 75 Compact, as I don't want to have multiple projects going at the same time. Patience is not one of my virtues.
Cannot wait to shoot it, I will be taking it to the range on Thursday.
