Nice weapon! Other than the lack of cleaning it seems in nice condition.  How was the bore after cleaning? Any issues?

Cannot wait to hear the range results.

Bore looks ok.  No other issues noticed.

I bought one also. Was very dirty inside and out. Looked like it had been dragged by a tank thru the Negev Desert. Barrel must have never been cleaned. After cleaning it looks great and the bore looks good too. Pics to follow after Thanksgiving when my grandson shows me how!

I found and purchased one of these on Gun Broker. it should be here on Tuesday. I plan on stripping the finish off and hot salt bluing it and filling it full of CGW parts. It looks rough as a cob right now but the inside looks great. Can't wait to get started on it.

Sounds like a interesting project, i would love to see some pictures of the process if it is plausible.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Anyone have an idea how many were made?

Mine is dated '93, S/N M8XXX.

Not sure if a TON were made or the other pre-b's have been grabbed up, but they're the most common pre-b variants on 'for sale' gun boards. At least that was the case when I was looking for a pre-b earlier this year. I want to say they were being produced / pieced together from 92-94. I ended up finding a like new 94'. Absolutely love that pistol.
