P-09 fitted with Surefire X300 Ultra LED Weaponlight

Good day all
New to the forum and not to sure if this has been asked before.
Has anybody fitted a  Surefire X300 Ultra LED Weaponlight to a P-09 before and has it worked?
Most of my time is spent in the bush / desert and I am looking for the max lumes, open spaces and wild animals.

The controls are in the same area any weapon mounted lights controls would be. I guess I'm just not following why you would think it wouldn't work?

Take a look at the Inforce APL, seems to "fit" the gun really well...

Looks like it fits the gun well ascetically, but kinda seems like a bit of a reach to the switch to me...guess that's one of the trade-offs to having a large trigger guard.
