Brand new cz 75BD
« on: December 17, 2015, 02:13:36 PM »
Hello i bought a brand new cz75BD there is what appears to be rust around the trigger sear, trigger spring, hammer, recoil spring and recoil spring frame. this gun was made in 2007 it was sold new in box to me a few days ago i figured out when it was made after i bought it >:(. is their any way they put red factory lube on the gun in those places, am looking for a way to confirm its rust. also is their any parts that i should get switched out that the newer models have them put in as a standard.

thanks

edit just packing grease.

Could just be that brown cosmoline crap. Strip it down, clean it up, lube it...and enjoy.  ;)

The guns shipped with a heavy preservative on them so if it has been sitting around NIB for all these years it is probably just that gunk you are seeing. Like has been said give it a good scrubbing to remove it and lube it up real good. Should be just fine.
