And walked-out with this today...

CZ 455 American Synthetic. I just happened to mention that one of my all-time-favorite guns was a Remington 541-S that was a plain-Jane, nuthin fancy, bolt-action .22 that would absolutely drive tacks with the right ammo. That's when my dealer pulled the 455 off the shelf and handed it to me. It was a slow day and he was in the mood to make a deal sooo...deal! I topped it with a 3-9x Nikon Prostaff Rimfire scope. Weather was utter crap today so I took it to my local indoor range where I could just get a feel and dial-in the scope a little more after bore-sighting. I was shooting from a seated, offhand supported position at 25 yards with CCI Mini Mag 40gr RN:

I was just goofing around. Normally, I bench rest and sight-in every new rifle with a variety of loads to determine which works best but, I couldn't wait to give this one a try. The first groups shot around the 3:00-4:00 o'clock position. I did a couple of clicks Up and Left and shot a few more times pretty close to center. If this is the type of accuracy I can expect (or better) I feel like I've found a pretty good replacement for my long lost Remington.
