CZ83 at local gun store
« on: April 12, 2016, 01:07:55 PM »
Hi,
New here.  I was wondering about a CZ83 that I saw at a local gun store.  It appears to be NIB, and has 3 or 4 full capacity mags with it.  There's a stamp on the frame that indicates it was probably built in 1995.  What's a decent price on something like this?  Thanks!

$450 + or -, especially if like NIB with extra mags.  The mags (if REAL factory mags) are $40 each.  I gave $499 for my NIB 2015 production one, with two mags.

The NIB 83 is at Rock Hill Firearms near Huntingdon TN.  I just thought I'd pass it along for anyone interested.

It all depends on what YOU think the value is. A few months before they were reintroduced I passed on LNIB Factory SS finish 83 with 2 mags for $350 out the door. It sold and I'm sure they thought it was a deal. I rarely shoot my 82 and sure a 83 would sit next to it. I like to think it went to a good home, gets shot and makes someone happy at the range!

No doubt it always comes down to what one is willing to pay in a given situation.  I've decided to pursue a 75 compact of some flavor.
