CZ uses a few different roll marks for the P-01 Slides for different markets.

"1. 75D Compact is the European designation for the 75P-01 which is only sold in the US. CZ marks the slides according to where they will be sold. "

Sorce: CZ 75 D or P01? Yes
http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=27902.0
Yep. And to add more confusion, in the 2nd pic of that link you have a 75D that is a PCR. I've also seen 75D's (PCR) with the 75D (P01) slide on it. Aka regular milled sights. [emoji2]
As a side note that I haven't seen mentioned much --- In that same pic in the thread Tok mentioned, above the 75D (PCR) you'll see a 75 compact. Steel frame, rail, safety, upswept beaver tail.

I am thinking that is an aluminum frame due to the horizontal step in the frame below the safety lever. Still a compact 40 with a safety is not available as far as i know. I did not notice it until you pointed it out.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

I thought so at first too but the description says Steel frame[emoji6]
Funny tho, I missed that it was a .40[emoji50] Thanks for pointing it out.

Yep it's a P01 here is a picture of mine it's the UPC99003. Mine is very accurate and the barrel is not black like a P01.

Does it have real night sights or just the glow in the darks?
It has the glow in the dark which in my opinion don't really glow. I am going to change my sights when I get a chance.

Your sights are different than the one OP listed a link to. Yours also has the lanyard loop at the base. The example doesn't

All I can tell you is if you order the UPC99003 the picture I posted is what you would get. It has regular stock sights, aluminum frame with rail. I paid $541 which was less than P01 in my area.

How in the heck can you read that description? Waite, i see it. It dose say steel, nice catch CD. Maybe the picture is inaccurate, have you ever seen a steel frame with a step in it like the one pictured?

I have.  My Sister has one.  It's all steel and weighs more than a full size .40 75B.

^^Interesting, that step may not be as much of a signifier for alloy frames as i have made it out to be. I need to get my hands on one of these things so i can inspect it closely.

That's cool James, those must not have been a regular import to the U.S. I'm guessing. Don't recall seeing one on here before. Thanks for sharing.

OP, sorry for the thread drift. As you can see there are different models that share some of the same names. Some are meant for US import, and some just get sent to fill the order.
As an example, the SP01 Phantom is listed on the CZ USA site as discontinued, but they still make them in the Czech Republic. Sometimes they still show up here, in fact Buds has some in stock now. I don't know why for sure, but my guess is to fill orders so the order can get shipped.
Once again, didn't mean to hijack your thread[emoji6]

They were made for a short time, two years, IIRC.  They got a bad reputation because they shipped with bad magazines and were quickly discontinued.  The ProMag magazines fixed the issues (yes...you read that right) as did the P-06 magazines.

A second apology for the drift!

I have a 75D compact slide with PCR sights and P-01 frame. All three numbers match with a date code of 2002. Is that the limited production model you all mentioned?

Hey no problem with the thread drift - its all good info.!

It seems to me that the 99003 has what I want (squared-up sights, alloy frame, decocker) even if its not a P01.  If it comes with night sights that's great, but if not I wasn't expecting it to.

From this whole thread I'm realizing how hard it must be to sell guns in multiple markets while complying with the local laws, and CZ has to constantly make changes from one run to the next.

Good thing most of the guts are the same or working on CZs would be way more of a pain in the ear.

     Welcome aboard Epguy80.
The one mentioned was a .40 with a safety. Yours sounds pretty cool tho.
How about a pic? Not sure I've seen the  railed 75D with the PCR sights. I've seen it the other way around tho.
Does it also have an LCI?
