First impressions cz p07 urban grey
« on: June 15, 2016, 07:39:19 AM »
Picked it up yesterday right away i checked if they resolved frame bulge. Of course i know its more of a cosmetic thing but i don't know about you but when i buy something new i don't expect any flaws. And sure enough its there but it's very small hopefully when i shoot it wont open up but other than that gun looks amazing grip texture is aggressive but feels amazing. The night sights are good even though ill prob swap them out for something more suited for carry i did have a older p07 so i kept the iwb holster but because of the sights it did not fit. The magazines both come with a plus to extension and also came with the parts to change out decocker to a  safety. Overall im very please with the gun and for 490 whats not to like. I cant wait to shoot it :)

Love mine. My only disappointment (and it is minor) is the lack of a white ring around the front sight tritium vial.

That quibble aside, the gun is pretty much perfect. Well, ok... I do have CGW parts on the way but you know what I mean :)

I wish i had time to go to range but hopefully i will soon i will say this dry firing the double action is terrible the worst I've felt in a while but im sure after shooting it more it will smooth out

Hi Guys

Strongly considering this for my EDC.

1) Does it have night sights?  CZ website wasnt completely clear, but most retailers seem to indicate this is true
2) How long is the barrel actually?  I know P07s by default have a 3.8 inch, i cant seem to understand how the extra threaded part makes its a 4.5 inch barrel as stated on the site
3) How much did you pay for it?
4) how hard is to switch out to the safety?

1) yes, it does
2) 4.5 is right... the barrel sticks out a good bit and then there is the thread protector...
3) $490 shipped from Damascus Gun Shop - great people to work with!
4) it is pretty easy - takes about 5 minutes

Yeah! What I said! LOL

As for holsters, I am currently using a Raven Concealment VG3 since I carry with a Surefire X300U attached. Long term I will just have a dedicated light-bearing appendix holster made.

They are from Kytex Shooting Gear - and they are excellent! Low profile, self tensioning and very affordable.

Those in the pic are actually made for CZ75 mags but a little hair dryer time made them work well enough with my P-07 mags to hold me over until proper ones arrive.

Urban Grey is new production and I thought the frame bulge issue was resolved with the non-Duty models. ???
