CZ put down
« on: August 03, 2016, 03:30:13 PM »
Did anyone notice the raging about CZ reliability on the 1911 forum this past week. Guy was complaining about "small part" wear. Maybe he has never heard of CGW or CZ Custom parts or maybe he does't like CZ taking over the firearm to use in matches.

Yeah. We don't care about that here.

I wasn't born in America, but I got here as fast as I could.

To be honest, I like it when people bad mouth CZ's. Helps keep prices down on a wonderful firearm. [emoji6]

Yea that's a hoot for sure. I'd put any of my CZ's up against ANY 1911 for a torture test any day.

you need to talk to a gunsmith and see what he says about guns and breaking.

i think you will find that he/she has had all brands/types break.

This thread will become just as non-sensical as the one on the 1911 forum. We'll end up arguing with each other over what some unknown un-named person supposedly said somewhere else.
Any on who has spent anytime with firearms knows they all wear and have their strong and weak points. What is really sad is that when people start bashing threads like that inexperienced people read that crap and take it as gospel.

I own both CZ and 1911. If I worried about every negative post on the Web my blood pressure would be out of sight.  As a 1911 owner I see posts daily telling me what junk I own. Pffffft, ignorance comes from all directions. Oh,  I do really enjoy both CZ and Mr. Browning's creations. So sad if you don't.

I own about 12-14 1911's, and 3 CZ's.
all pretty much meet my needs, different models were chosen for different purposes.
but I got to admit that my P-01 is well north of 7000 rounds my SP-01 tac well north of 5000 rounds and neither has had a single issue of any type in function, this is with some 6-7-8 different types of self defense ammo and  reloaded range ammo.
I don't think that I have a  single 1911 that can match that record?
I have no problem with either platform though.

I am a member of the 1911 forum and there was a discussion about a CZ75.  The responses were overwhelmingly positive with many stating it was one of their favorite guns.  The original poster was asking for info on it and after so many positive responses, talked like he would be getting one.  Didn't see hardly any negatives.

Same here.  Just a few negatives, but overwhelming positive.

At least I didn't say Glock over CZ 😄 I own 3 1911's and 3 CZ 75's. They all run great, but I carry the CZ75B.
