Walnut grips
« on: August 27, 2016, 08:05:21 AM »
I just ordered a pair of walnut grips ($55) for my CZ-83 from the CZ-USA store, and a couple of the recommended spacers to go with them. They have been on backorder for a while.
Also, I modified the front sight to take a little Hi Viz Spark ll front sight. It is a small green plastic light pipe, intended to replace the front bead on a shotgun.
Couldn't figure out how to add the pic...

CZ-83, CZ-75D PCR, finally, a CZ Rami 9mm
Sure, I'd like to be young again, if it didn't come with such a big dose of stupid.

So, even with a forum handle like that, the op is befuddled with the "normal" pic posting process here [emoji1]. Go the easy way if you can download the Tapatalk app that lets you post directly from the device's photo library. Let's see those grips, spacers and sight.

Overdue update - Yes, these are the grips.
The short experiment with the green light pipe front sight did not work out. I never did find a permanent way to keep it fastened to the modified factory front sight. I ended up with Meprolite night sights, which are at least more visible than the originals.
