A rare batch of SP-01 Compacts available

I finally picked mine up today and went to the range tonight.  Only shot 100 rounds of fmj and 10 hp (just to see how she'd do - I knew it was too early).  This pistol feels like I've had it all along; great shooter, natural pointer, and the weight makes it well balanced in my hand.  Loved everything about it except for the sights.  They're going soon...

CZ Customs has 100 of them in stock. I was there visiting today and Stuart is thinking about ways to add the custom shop touch. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with I would watch their website to see what comes up in the near future

That's odd. I thought the dealers selling these all provided a live count. I ordered mine from anacortes gun shop, they show 1 available. When I ordered mine I think it was at 32X.

If the first run was 500 and the second run was an additional 500 is that not 1000 total units?

Yeah, I just thought that meant that of the second batch of 500 CZ Custom only brought in 100 to the U.S. So, stateside we have 600. But, that could just be my misunderstanding and CZ USA took the other 400...? Bill Hicks (the distributor who got all of the first batch of 500) shows 208 left. So, I am left to assume he didn't get any from the second batch.

Just wait till you throw a race or competition hammer in there and Polish it up... You'll need another one to convert to single action only or put a red dot on, or... Well, you get the picture.

I've been VERY tempted to pick up a second one of these, but then I remember the Accu-Compact I have on order.

You guys are enablers.  I've got one and like it a lot.  I'd probably actually be more tempted by another P 01 omega because they are so perfect for double stack carry.  And because you can't find any, it keeps more cash in my pocket.
