The rear sight is what totally sucks to be honest.

They need to be replaced as a set. Its hard to believe that this is the best they can put on these guns. It seems to be the exact same style that is on my CZ82.

I would black out the rear dots and focus on the front.  That works well for me.

I like our short tactical and tritium front. it a nice clean package, easy to see.

I put the Dawson carry sights on mine last night. Now I just need to find the time to test them out.

Not fiber optic. Black front and rear. Item 310-218 - .240 Tall rear with .135 wide aperture and .150 tall front by .100 wide.

Shot my SP01 Compact with the new Dawson sights today. Very much improved over stock sights. The slightly taller front sight (.135" stock to .150" tall Dawson) brought the point of impact down nicely. Shooting about three inches above point of aim at 25 yards - just like I like it for a 6 O'clock hold. (was shooting 10-12" high at 25 yards with stock sights). I got lucky with the install since the horizontal side-to-side aim seems to be pretty much right on. Very satisfied with the look and performance of the Dawson sights.

Reply #437 by Warrior on page 30 of this post shows a picture of the sights I got installed on the SP01 Compact. That's where I found out about them. I like that the rear has a nice ledge for one-handed racking off your pants or some other object like a table or something in an emergency where your other arm is out of action. I don't care for fiber optic on a carry gun, which can break and cause a momentary mental incongruence that could delay reaction time just enough to cause one to come in second place in a gun fight. I just paint the front sight bright orange. Of course neither will help at night.

They can sell any CZ they make in the US.  So if they have a over run or if some group decides to to cancel their order.  CZ will just ship it to the US.

My LGS got in a couple of hard to find CZ.  They made a phone call and they were sold 30 minutes later.  More and more folks are now looking for the CZ.   My LGS is a Sig distributors.  However, there were 5 of us standing and discussing which LGS had which CZ available.

So far have about 350 rds through the SP-01 Compact.  Looking to upgrade the sights, will shoot another 200 rds through it just to be sure.  Then will have to look into doing those modifications that Scarlett Pistol did with the write up, which was truly awesome. First I'll build me a nice OWB holster :)
