I just bought one this morning. I'm very excited for it! I've been looking for a Shadow Line Compact for quite awhile, and have only seen one for sale for $1500 on GB awhile back since they went out of stock with CZC. This will do the trick nicely and should be functionally identical once I put CGW parts inside it.

As a lefty, i've always been disappointed that CZ has offered rather limited options for ambi safeties in their compact models. I've owned a P-02 before, but I hate the Omega trigger system. Honestly, I prefer the frame and slide of the standard compact model, but i've never been able to justify the hundreds of dollars it would cost to have the frame machined and fitted for an ambi safety.

Seeing that I just finalized ordering an Accu-Compact build with CZC, I probably shouldn't have bought this as well, but I know this would be one i'd be kicking myself over had I waited, as limited-run CZs are very difficult to find and costly on the secondary market.

I'm a lefty too and have one of these coming in.  I'm also not a great fan of the omega system and never really liked my P 07, which I gave to my son.  (He also has a nice tuned 75 shadow).  But, I do shoot my P 01 omega very well.

Tell me about the accu compact you are having built?  Which model is it based on?

It's the exact same gun as this: http://czcustom.com/new-firearms/cz-pistols-custom/cz-75-semi-compact-9mm-custom.html?___SID=U

I just missed the boat the first time around when they made a batch of these last year, so i'm having them make one for me as a custom build.

Anyone having issues trying to order? Order doesn't seem to be going through after trying.

that looks real nice!  Is it built on a stainless frame that is refinished?  I can't think of another hi rise full size fpb frame that comes with ambi safeties, except maybe a .40 frame.

I have thought of mixing my incoming SP 01 compact top end on to my buffed and modded SP 01 frame, and vice versa for kicks.

It's built on a Shadow frame, with tuned FPB parts added back in.

Just got my notice of shipment from AZGUNS. Hoping to have it by Thursday or Friday.

Are you absolutely sure it's the same? It looks like the linked compact has the wide safety and also a fitted bushing. I'm curious if these are similar to the l compacts limited release from before.

It figures. I just got a CZ 75 compact a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find one of these so I talked myself into the compact. Now I'm trying to talk myself out of ordering this pistol.  That being said what is this ? It's all steel has a safety and a rail.  The only difference I can see is the 10 round mag and that can be changed. https://www.kygunco.com/Product/View?ItemNo=41526

The photo can be deceiving since they put a disclaimer about that. The one at Kygunco. probably does not have the rail - even if the picture shows one. Google the CZ number to see what it really looks like.

rhart,
Thanks for the suggestion.  You are correct the one at Kygunco doesn't have a rail.

Nor does it have the streamlined beavertail (and ambi-safety). It's the standard CZ 75 Compact (safety, steel frame) based on that 01190 stock number. Good catch, rhart.

I just ordered one from MrGunDealer.  I printed out the picture and description from their website just in case the pistol that shows up is different.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I wouldn't be too worried. The KYgunco has been listed wrong for quite some time before this batch of SP-01 Compacts showed up, so that one is wrong DONT order it. If you look at the UPC at Mr Gun Dealer and Anacortes they match, and they match the UPC of the ones in the pictures above. Should be safe as long as those UPC numbers match up.
