Bill hicks is a distributor. His inventory is probably daily though? Dont know.

Just go to their site and type in a the SKU. I called my dealer about 6 and got it
Huh, well I'll definitely call and see if the disparity exists in the morning.

I seriously doubt someone bought 200. Thats a distributor level order.

And Bill Hicks doesnt cut deals.

I have a stock P01,  well my dad does,  and while I like it enough to want to mod it I also like the heft a little.  I'm just concerned with carrying it all day. It took my back a while to get used to the P7 and that's 34. 4oz loded I believe.  This would be another 9 oz roughly loaded.  Not terrible.

Showing 247 at Bill Hicks....it's amazing to see how little amount of CZs across the board on hand

Interestingly enough the have 156 on hand of the the 99003 which is a P-01 that says CZ 75 Compact on slide. The P-01 seems hard to find now, this is a hidden gem for people looking for a P-01

When was that? I've been thinking about one.  Bad timing but I might do it anyway.

Wanted something for carry.  Currently carry a HK P7 which I love  to carry but I'm very partial to my Shadow.  The P7 only holds 8+1 too.  A little concerned with the weight but if I don't like it I can always sell it to someone who missed out and get a P-01.  I can't believe these weigh within a couple of ozs of my Shadow.

I have a Shadow as well as this new SP-01 compact. I had them both out to the range on Monday and shot them side by side. I think this new SP-01 is about 2 ounces heavier than my Shadow and it feels heavier. I'm not sure I will carry it. It will probably be more of a car/travel pistol.

Let's put this baby to bed: completely factory, out of the box,  the SP01 Compact weighs 37.65 oz with included 14rd magazine with rubber baseplate, and weighs 34.75 oz without mag.

Fully loaded with 14 rounds of Federal HST 147gr, it weighs 44.45 oz. Loaded with 14+1, it's 44.90 oz.

I was figuring about 44-45 oz loaded.  It's 2 oz lighter than my Shadow.

I just looked and Anacortes shows 247 in stock. Hang in there Scarlett hopefully there will be a few available when you're ready to get a second one.

Ended up canceling and ordering from mr gun dealer.

Bill hicks wanted to beat my dealer up on shipping and tack on charges unless he spent a bunch of money.  Cant stand them as a distributor. Never liked them when I bought direct either.

Ended up paying the $541 to have it drop shipped to him. Would have cost me $75 more with sales tax, extra shipping and giving him a fair margin similar to what he makes on the transfer.

Too bad they're the only distributor with these.

Don't expect them to be flying off the shelf to dealers anytime soon. I'd bet it's almost all dropship sales for these. Most dealers wont deal with hicks for store inventory given the choice. Buds is certainly drop shipping from them, as is mr gun dealer. I'd bet everyone else is too - save maybe kygunco. I don't know how they work. My sp01 came from them, they were the only ones with a black suppressor ready.

I thought mine would be drop shipped as well, but the shipping label had an Arizona address (AZGuns). The tracking showed it originating in Arizona as well. I'm guessing Hicks shipped to AZGuns and they turned around and shipped to me.

Borsig , I know firsthand the relationship between Bill Hicks, and Gander Mountain. If you're not GM your not getting a deal from Hicks.

I guess as collectors you guys are lucky. Had rsr, sport south, etc had these, they'd be gone, on gun broker, or in shops.

My wife wanted a small version of my sp01. She likes heavier guns. I dont care about the collectability. Although that's neat.

Bill Hicks sucks, and that's exactly why these are still around, and places like iammo, or the other cz discounters don't have them.

Gander cant run the sku for a retail season, and its not a cz catalog item. They won't stock it. They also wont allocate reserve them, which allows small dealers a shot.  Half of everything hicks gets is automatically allocated it seems.

Perspective - to get ups flat rate shipping as a dealer you have to spend $1500. Otherwise, you pay retail ship on each item individually. For my guy, that was $30, per gun.
