I just started carrying mine a couple of days ago.  I also have a P01 and when carried, I can feel the difference, but not in a bad way.  I carry OWB in a Kramer scabbard done in horsehide.  With a good belt, the chunky little gun carries quite well.

Those look pretty interesting!

The more I have been carrying mine AIWB the more I am surprised by how comfortable it is. Good belt and holter sure make it realistic. Sure, for those coming from carrying a single stack polymer pistol it would feel heavier, but I really don't feel like its bad at all.

I'm probably not helping the weight issue by carrying 147g HSTs

It is a free country, but these lightweights are definitely not for me!  IMHO (if weight is your concern) you'd be better off loading a magazine with only 5 147gr SD rounds (such as HST, Gold Dot, etc.) rather than a full magazine of this stuff.  I'd much rather have a heavy weight bullet slow-poking through layers of clothes, bones, etc. to reach the vitals/stop the attack vrs. perhaps a hellacious flesh wound that doesn't.  Try shooting a "clothed" pork shoulder roast with them and let me know if one of those fragments will even dent the bone.  Sure the meat will likely look nasty but nasty won't necessarily stop an attack!  Not trying to be jerk, here -- just hoping to save your life.

First time I picked up a box, I thought it was empty... My P07 likes em. Haven't tried them in the "SP-01" Compact yet

Hmmm...my lgs has a cz75d pcr in stock for $550.  Tough deciding which to get but leaning toward the D.

Id grab a PCR at that price. Try to talk them down or include tax.

Seriously thinking about it - these things (pcr) are hard to find.

Just keep in mind your purpose. PCR's sound amazing for carry, but they aren't limited run. If you want a compact SP-01 these are a one time deal. You can't go wrong with either if it fits the bill for your intent.

Good point - the sp-01 compact is a rare bird.  Other than the steel frame and rail, what's the major difference between it and the pcr?  Thanks again.

It has the manual safety, that's the biggest thing. Different beavertail, but that's not the primary difference.
