Congrats WNYSooner on finally getting it home!

SIDE NOTE: CZ said they worked on the frame of the Shadow 2 to make it manage recoil even better. Well, I was looking at a picture and noticed a familiar line in the frame above the grip panels.... Turns out the Shadow 2 has the wider frame up top like our SP-01C's. So, while it seemed like laziness or oversight to just use the P-01 frame on a steel compact... It turns out this carries a recoil reducing benefit CZ was aware of and incorporated into the Shadow 2. Just food for thought that makes these all the more interesting.

I want one so bad. I almost bought a 97 a few weeks ago, but decided to save the funds for the Shadow 2. Great catch btw.

Having lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas I'm shocked at what stupid gun laws NY state has. Every move they make you jump through hoops.

Just did that exact thing a few weeks ago. Here's what I ordered from CGW to do it. You also need either a starter punch or spring-loaded center punch.

5SAO      Single Action Only Aluminum Trigger (your preference)
TR-PIN    Floating Trigger Pin
20C        Hammer Spring Strut Compact (so you don't have to drive out the pins for the disco and old hammer)
RHK        Race Hammer Kit (your preference)
HPIN       Hammer Pin
SRS-1     Short Reset System
When the knock on the door said “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms,” naturally I thought it was a delivery…

Here's some videos and there should be 2 in the Playlist that cover single action only conversions. Hope they help.

Thanks guys, i'll also check those vids later.  After this conversion is done, does the trigger assembly work just like the 75 sa only trigger, i assumed i needed the sao sear cage
Thanks

Yup. You do not need a new sear cage, it's the SAO trigger that does the major change in functionality.

Just be aware that if you put in a different hammer with adjustable sear the safety function will be different. You'll be able to flip the safety up while the hammer is down. Don't do that, though.

From the CGW site:

When installing any high performance hammer in a CZ, the sears angle is changed, which alters the way the manual safety works:

1)  Hammer down manual safety can be applied ?up?

2)  Hammer at half-cock manual safety can be applied ?up?

3)  Hammer at full cock, manual safety can be applied ?up?, but trigger pull w/n drop the hammer

Please note this deviates from the way the OEM parts work.  DO NOT cycle the action in DA with the hammer down and the manual safety in the ?up? position.  The manual safety was never designed to be applied ?up? with the hammer down, whether using OEM parts or CGW parts.  The manual safety is only designed to be used with the hammer at full cock.  If 1, 2, & 3 listed above are unacceptable, then do not purchase this hammer kit.

Also don't try to rack the slide with the safety up.

I'm also considering converting to SAO just to experiment. Wouldn't you also need a sear spacer to remove the lifter and lifter spring?
