Ha ha, Tyrone! Didn't think a simple patch would draw some drool factor. I now see that there's an out-of-stock version on the CZ-USA website but that one has CZ-USA emblazoned on it. Who knows what'll show up at future drawings run by this fabulous forum for its fabulous members. [emoji846]

Hello to all:
I've been lurking on this board for a little better than a year, I finally registered. In the last few years I've had a P-07, (ended up trading it) last year a PCR (ended up trading it as well) and now have a SP-01 Tactical That I acquired in a trade. ( traded a VP9 even up for it, and after shooting it awhile,it's not going anywhere) and yesterday I ordered a SP-01 compact, I figured I'd better get one if I wanted one, while I could. Since the P-10 from what I've read, is going to be delayed until late April, This freed up funds for the SP-10 compact. If these shoot anything like my SP-01 Tac, This should be a joy to shoot. A couple quick questions for those of you who have dug around a bit in these, Can the manual safety on these converted to a decocker? Also what holsters work, P-01's? Sights? p-01"s? I can't wait to get mine..

Welcome and congratulations!

Short answer, no they can't be converted to a decocker (only omega trigger systems can go back and forth). P-01 holsters are the correct fit. I only changed a front sight so some other gentlemen will be better answer rear sights and what not. Got these for the same reason, love my SP-01 and wanted a compact version with the steel frame. Share your range report when you get it and take it out!

Scarlett Pistol,  by converting, what I was thinking was by changing sear cages, I understand what you mean with the omega system, But I was thinking changing the whole sear cage,(and what ever else ) to get a decocker, is that even possible with this model?

With the classic trigger system the frames have holes in different spots so interchange doesn't work. I looked into it because I wanted to convert a P-01 to a manual safety before these SP-01 Compacts arrived.

Well, Thanks, Guess I'll have to learn to use the safety lever, On the bright side I did get my shipping notice from Mr. Gun Dealer this afternoon, so, hopefully next week I should have it. In the meantime, I guess I'll stroll through CGN's website, I plan on doing to this compact what I did to my SP-01,(which wasn't a lot, pretty basic, really) extended firing pin & springs, #13 hammer spring, reduced power trigger spring, trigger pin, and firing pin retaining pin. leave everything else factory. I like the recurve trigger in my SP-01, so, I'll probably keep it in the compact.. And then there's grips.. and I've got to look at sights...

I don't bother with the safety on this one. It's thin enough to not be in the way at all. It can't engage unless the hammer is all the way back, and it's too thin to trust carrying like that in my opinion.  I let the dropped hammer and myself be the safety.

That's probably what I'll do.. I prefer decockers on DA/SA carry guns. I was hoping I could convert it, but I guess not.

I think a few pages within this thread someone or a few people had eyes on the number  of these guns that were available...any idea on how many of these are still available to be sold and is Bill Hicks the only distributor?

Oh yes I see that, I'm just trying to get an idea on many are out there.  I see Bill Hicks is showing 32

Is that all that's left or are there other distributors with stock?

Anacortes shows the same 32 number available. I'm assuming they're using Hicks as their distributor.

When the knock on the door said “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms,” naturally I thought it was a delivery…

Bill Hicks got the first 500. CZ custom brought in 100 and then 1000 more made it to a bunch of others. So if Bill Hicks is almost out we know there's 1100 or so out there that are being sold. I'm guessing these will be in stock another 6 months.

Ok thanks.....so if we want to be able to buy these locally at our LGS it seems that once Bill Hicks supply is gone our only option will be buying through internet sellers?
