Preferred round for .40 P07

Looking for some wisdom on which ammo the .40 P07 prefers.

And recommended holsters for concealed carry.

Store bought ammo?  Or reloads?

So far I've only shot 135 grain hollow points (check out the Nosler website for load data) and 140 grain Missouri Bullet Co. cast lead bullets.  I've got some 180 grain bullets (also cast lead) but haven't gotten around to trying to work up a load yet.

I use two different holsters.  One is an Air Marshall III (used in the summer) and the other is a combination leather/kydex inside the west band (on/behind my right hip) holster I got off e-bay.  I had to modify this one due to pistol mods (RMR and BUIS) a few months ago.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
