The test was done on a Thursday at 0935hr in the morning.  I have them at 0744hr in the morning.  So they start very early testing their weapons.   The test target on my PCR was three in less than a 1/2" at just above the point of aim and two fliers.   However, I have change to nights sights since then.

Thanks. One thing I don't like are the sights because they're small and not bright. I noticed one youtube video of someone repainting the the dots of the stock sites with a brighter green glow paint. Because I can barely see them with my aging eyes. Did you replace the sights yourself?

I immediately black out the rear dots and paint the front sight bright orange on standard CZ sights if I don't put competition sights on them.

John, here's my test target for the PCR I bought right before you. Same tester and same day but about two hours earlier in the morning. Interesting!

OK. That was you. I remember reading this in another thread about doing that.

Thanks for posing, Mike.  Being that these were tested 2 hrs apart, I would think the serials would be a few apart. Nice target. The dispersion area is under 1/3 of mine. Maybe the tester had to pee like a racehorse before he tested mine!

I have to say that every CZ I have owned shot to the test target and no better in my hands. So I do think they are representative of the guns mechanical accuracy to an extent. However, some have increased the accuracy of their CZs by installing CGW's barrel bushing or the Accu bushing.

All my stock CZ's are not representative of their test targets.
Try shooting off of sand bags. That will show the true accuracy. My CZ's are waaay more accurate than I am. [emoji6]

If the test targets dont really represent the accuracy of the pistol, why is the test target from my tac sport so much better than the one in my p01 or Rami? Coincidence?

Sorry it took so long to get this posted.  I've been out of town on business all week.

I looked at the test target before I took the PCR to the range but I didn't put much stock in it.  As you can see from the 10 yard target I previously posted, it's pretty much nuts-on accurate using a dead-center point of aim on the target.  Test targets are what they are and don't seem to be any indication of how well the pistol can shoot.

Test targets are function check documentation in my opinion.  I've always gotten better results myself than I've seen from any test target...Sometimes it takes a few thousand rounds!   And some Sugru or JB-Weld.  :) :)

Seriously, John, just relax, take that bad boy to the range and shoot the crap out of it.  If you use good shooting techniques (grip, trigger control, sight alignment, breathing, concentration) you will be thrilled with your PCR's accuracy.  That's why we practice, right?  :D

You seem relatively new to CZ's so I recommend finding a good indoor range with a training program to develop your skills.  Age is no excuse.  I'm 57, my eyesight sucks from staring at computer screens for the last 20 years, wear glasses and enjoy shooting pistols and rifles just as much as I ever have.  It's a challenge for me but when I absolutely nail a target, it's extremely gratifying to know that I still can do it almost as well as when I was 27.

Have fun and give us a range report with some pics!

Thanks everyone. This is my first firearm I've owned although have shot hand guns of various gauges that didn't belong to me. There's a couple of indoor ranges near me I'm looking into. Just ordered eye and ear protection and cleaning stuff. Getting excited!  A new world to me.

Get some snap cups or a small o-ring to put under the hammer and dryfire pistol a lot. It will smooth the trigger nicely before you even visit the range.

Thanks for reminding me about the snap caps. Yup, read about the o-ring technique. Thx

If you don't shoot regularly - or even a lot - one thing that you may find irritating is the PCR's serrated trigger.  The PCR's trigger is borrowed from the CZ 85 Combat and works exactly the way it was intended: to prevent trigger finger slippage between shots.  If your hands aren't as well calloused as mine, though, it may start bothering you after 100 rounds or so.  Be prepared for that.

I happen to like the serrated trigger, especially wearing leather gloves.  Others have changed their triggers out to a smooth combat trigger, like the P-01's.
