Really Nice 97B
« on: November 21, 2016, 08:10:30 PM »
Here is a really nice 97B.  The option list is to long to list, but notice the full width CGW Tactical Sport wide hammer, the barrel hood jeweling, and the nice Nils grips.  All work was done in house by CGW excluding the TiAN coated barrel, TiAN coated accessories, and the hard chrome.  Sports an ice crisp 2 lb. 5 oz. trigger and full target sight system.  Thanks to Mr. K for allowing us to build this beauty.

Great work ! I cannot wait to shot it. I have waited long enough, in two days it will be in my hands. Finally. CGW did a great job in putting this together like I wanted. Chrome shop took a while, however I knew this would be a 2-3 month build and it looks great. I had the hammer and internal parts TIN coated to make it easy to clean like my AR. Now I am really pleased.

Great 97B.  It is my favorite .45.
2 questions.
1.- What are the properties of the tin coating that make it desire able.@
2.- What was this pistols original finish?

That is just too neat and super sweet!

Looks incredible, good choice on the color scheme! Just curious, what rear sight is that? I asked for an LPA adjustable rear but that one looks nice!

In addition to having that really great gold color, Titanium Nitride is extremely hard and slick, so it protects the parts underneath from abrasion and reduces friction.

You guys did a fantastic job on that gun, it's looks incredible! Do you sell that extended safety and slide stop for the 97B or were they one-offs for this build?

The grips feel great. This is a unbelievable example of a CZ and what CGW can do with one. I am amazed at the fit and finish of this gun.

What rear sight is that and was the slide cut to fit it?  It looks like it fits the slide better than other adjustable rears I've seen on 97's.

I really like the hard chrome finish.  I may have to send my bd in for the bushing treatment and some hard chrome.

I'm holding out that cz will start shipping the ts orange in 40s&w. If they don't show up by spring I'll send in my bd for the treatment.

Beautiful gun!

Cheers,
Toby
