TFX-Pro sights on a CZ-2075 RAMI, SUCCESS!!!!!

I spent some time over the Christmas holiday to finish this rather complex project.
I am not going to tell anybody else to try this, but it can be done.
I love TFX sights and the new Pro version with the Orange ring on the front sight is even better for my crappy near vision.
This all started when I realized that the Kimber Compact 1911's have roughly the same height ratio, of front to rear sight height, as the RAMI.
That gave me the seed of the idea. The rest was just my obstinate refusal to give up.

Really nice work. Have you shot it yet? It will be interesting to know if the POA has changed with the new sights.

I have shot it and the rear sight is a tiny bit tall, but I can just adjust my sight picture.
I have customized sights on many of my guns so I am used to sacrificing precise alignment for actually being able to see the sights.
Figuring out how to have fiber-optic sights on my EAA Witness Elite Match 10mm, my Sar K2 45, and my Bersa Thunder Plus were all involved projects that gave me bright dots instead of blurry black sights.
I have excellent far vision, but my near vision is just suffering from aging so I need every advantage. I even made a side mount for a laser on my S&W 629 44 Mag Revolver.
A year at gunsmithing school back in 1985 ruined me for thinking of guns as sacred objects. I see them all as LEGO sets.
Like my CZ-75 SP01 in 357 SIG.
Now that I have done a Cajun Gun Works trigger package on my RAMI I have to budget doing the same for my P-06, SP01, and PCR.

From the note on the picture:
"I tried one of the Pro-Mag extended mags and it was crap, so cut the upper section off the Pro-mag and TIG welded on a Mecgar CZ mag.
It holds 35 rounds and shoots fine even if it is heavy as hell when loaded."

Very Cool...  That's where one set of my grips went :-)  Excellent work on the sights, they look great.

What mag spring do you put in a custom 35rd mag?

I used the promag spring with another section added from a mecgar mag.
I have only shot this mag once, but it worked fine.
It was more of a intellectual challenge than a useful object.
Although I have though of building my own version of a CAA RONI that used my SP01.
Then a 35 round mag would be useful.

Ok just found this after shooting my RAMI for the first time today, although I knew I probably wouldn't like the sights just by looking at them and having something similar on the SP-01C.

Well time to go look at your process...Hoping I can do this, as I also like the TFX pros

Edited: hmmmm, a little more milling than the tools I have. Gonna have to think about this one.
