RRK 2 or RRK 1?
« on: January 07, 2017, 02:02:43 PM »
In looking at the possible upgrades to my SP-01, the Reach Reduction kit is attractive but I'm trying to determine if there is any benefit in going w/ the type I instead of the type II if I don't install the SRS? If there is no benefit to the type I, then it would seem a no brainer to go with the type II so that I will have more options in the future?

The difference is that type 2 comes with a type 2 disconnector. The type 2 disconnector has a shorter single action reset and will NOT work unless you have a short reset system or you remove the FPB and the corresponding parts. There is no difference in the distance the reach is reduced.

Agree with Scarlett Pistol.
If all you want to change is the DA trigger reach, then all you need is the #1.
If you may want the short reset in the future, then the future is now[emoji6]For the RRK 2 to work, you need either the SRS1 or SRS2.
