Playing with disconnectors

We have been experimenting with disconnectors and have made a interesting observation.  We are in the final phases of testing and verification.

We have been able to consistently lower the DA a significantly.  Stay tuned.

Disconnector fun is my favorite kind of fun. Time to start guessing..... You made a disco out of Teflon? No no, you made a disco out a magnet so it dose not touch the trigger bar but floats on magnetism? Last try....you made a disco out of cntrydawwwg's money?  ;D

Just lowered my da pull on a couple compacts by over 4.25 lbs with just spring changes and some polishing of all contact surfaces I could get to ,thought that was pretty good ,

We are machining a new angle on our disco's.  Have a bunch to do, but the difference is profound.  We took a slicked up CZ and installed one of our disco's and tested the DA.  Using our default 13# hammer spring, the average DA was 7 lbs. 12 oz. 

We took the disco out, added a 3 degree angle to the face and the pull weight dropped to 6 lbs. 13 oz.  The angle also changes the final break away on the DA pull making it the most linear we have ever seen.

We then followed up with 6 more builds and the spread measured from a high of 7 lbs. 2 oz. to a low of 6 lbs. 12 oz.   

We are going to test the P-07/09 discos later this week to verify improvement (or not).
