"You know" and "like" are two of my pet peeves, myself.
On the other hand, I really like the looks of this new rifle and would LOVE to try one out. I have fingers crossed that at LEAST the HPA is passed and the rifle can be offered with suppressors as well...total dream is SBR/SBS are also taken off NFA and I can get a 14" barreld version factory stock.

I wish there were 308 conversions on the horizon for the 805. that would justify the size/weight and then you could get the smaller bren 806 in 5.56. At least that's what I'm wishing for!

That is the 806, re named. Yes, it is what everyone all over the 'net have been clamoring for, while the ones like me are quite happy with our 805s.

plenty of people post stuff but I have handled the Bren 806. A 308 would require a different receiver.

I'll start saving and wait for the 16" version of the Bren 2 to come out at some point later this year. Definitely interested!
