I have one on my Scorpion and it works great...locks up solid. Folds out from the folded position easily as well, but stays folded also....if that makes sense. Very well made and the machine work is top notch.

I have it as well and am very pleased. Extremely solid, both open and closed.

I have the Lage Scorpion- AR15 Right Folding Stock Adapter, 5 Deg. Cant

I used the Kak Shockwave and it actually turned out to be about $30 less than a lot of the other folding brace systems out there.

It's very solid which I like--the only thing I don't like is that the screw for the adapter is very small and I think it's a different size than the screw for KAK adapter, if I had bought that. The reason I think it's a different size is because I accidentally bought the screw for the KAK adapter and they look like they're not interchangeable. It would just make it very difficult to replace the screw if something happened down the road.  Lage did actually send me another replacement screw though, for free, so that's awesome.  I messed up the first one because it was so small I didn't realize it was a screw (I'm not a smart man-child). It does say on the site its a #10-32 screw though so that is helpful.

I'm referring to the screw that would go into the single hole on the top of this ^^

Overall, I am extremely happy with it--it locks when the brace is out and when its folded you don't have to press anything to open it up.  I can hold the scorpion upside down and the brace won't fall open from gravity either, so that's nice as well.

So, one can purchase one of these and the shockwave and install it and use it without having to SBR their EVO or until their stamp comes back, correct?

That's what I did--I meant to post the picture from his site with the KAK.

Here it is:

Lage's stuff is in stock and so is the KAK stuff.

I itemized my order with KAK instead of buying the package since I didn't need the adapter from KAK.

I ordered the item #338 from this page on Lages website: http://www.max-11.com/Scorpion%20Stocks.html

Hope that helps!

Thank you, for the life of me I couldn't find the page with the actual products to add to the cart.  This is great.

Adding a castle nut to the KAK tube keeps it tight, and does not come loose like that tiny set screw. I have the Lage adapter that folds to the left, and I am very happy with it.

Oh yeah, I have a castle nut I bought just for this purpose but I haven't put it on yet. My set screw hasn't come off yet thankfully.

Mine folds right with 5 degree cant, and allows for firing with the brace folded. Very solid. I did trim a 1" square corner off the brace so it would not interfere with my trigger finger.

I literally just bought a Dremel to do this. I'm also going to Dremel down the safety.  I know you're not really supposed to use dremels on firearms but I figure these aren't going to effect the function unless I really mess it up.

If you used a Dremel, would you mind saying which attachment/accessories you used? I haven;t received mine yet and I'm clueless.

Lol. Sorry man. I used a hack saw and sandpaper. Trust me though. The dremel is on the bench and always plugged in.
