What is this?
« on: March 03, 2017, 07:08:28 AM »
Hey Scorp Fans:

I just noticed that on the rear end of the left receiver is what looks like a flat belt loop (just below the sling mount ring).

What is this used for?

Also, I have a small amount of play in the hand guard - noticeable mostly when I hold it by the vertical grip.  Is there any way to tighten that up?

Thank you?

Correct.

Depending what handguard you run depends on how it tightens. The OEM handguards should have a barrel nut that will tighten the handgaurd to the receiver. You may need to make/buy a tool to get to it and they are commonly well stuck in place due to thread locking compound, so plan on needing heat or a lot of shear force.
