PMM Safety Selectors?
« on: March 06, 2017, 12:33:43 PM »
Hello All!

I am looking at upgrades for my new Scorpion.  I am curious as to if anyone has/had experience with these safety's?  They look slick, but on using the search function I didn't see anything positive or negative.  Thanks for any help in advance!

Cheers!

I have it on my Scorpion. I REALLY like it. I have the long/dimpled version. I love how it sticks out laterally (a little bit) to easily switch off safe.

I'm using these as well, was a little stiff at first but once they break in there pretty fast and smooth. No matter which aftemarket route you go you'll probably want to "slightly" round off the point on your evos safety detent. Makes a big difference in overall stiffness going from safe to fire without such a steep slope on it.

I have a long on the left and short on the right. Both are dimpled. I like them a lot. Jarrod makes great kit. The dimples are a tiny bit rough on bare hands but work great with gloves.

Thanks all for the reply's!  I am going to do the long on the left and short on the right both dimpled.  I was told that the factory selector can dig into your hand and the PMM offering's looked pretty darn slick!  Thanks again,  I appreciate your input!

I just got their QD rear attachment and its amazing.  The easiest thing I've installed on this gun so far...everything else had a small hiccup.

My advice for the safety removal would be once you remove the Right-side stock safety, keep the left safety pressed firmly against the receiver.  You don't want the safety indent to come out of position because it's not easy to put back in place.  The safety indent needs to be in place in order to install the safety.

I don't have the PMM selectors on my Scorpion by I do have the dimpled ones on my SCAR. I thought they were a bit rough as well so I cut a little ring of heat shrink rubber tubing and slid it over the dimpled ball. Hit it with a lighter for a second and now it's perfect. Nice and grippy but doesn't tear up my thumb knuckle. Definitely recommend it for people who are getting scraped up by the dimples.
