You should give the P-01 or PCR a look if you are interested in getting a compact CZ pistol.  The weight difference is not that much compare to the P-07 because of the aluminum frame.  Also you can use the magazines from the full size CZ 75.

I was looking at reviews on the P01 and it looks like a nice option. I understand the PCR is very difficult to obtain with corresponding prices$!

I have the impression that the P01 is a very durable option so it is a good option when considering a replacement for the 2022; which is very durable.

HA HA HA HA !!!! Good luck finding the
Omega P-01. You're going to have to stand in line for that one. Unless you want the non Omega convertible 75 po1.

I made the mistake of picking up a non Omega P-01 yesterday at one of the very few gun shops that stocks plenty of CZ's. Big, BIG mistake!

what was the mistake? Did you really mean to get 2 P-01s instead of just the one?

I know that feeling.  This morning I stopped by my LGS after a range session with my P-07 Duty.  He had a P-01 on display.  This was the place I recently purchase my PCR.  I was really tempted to ask them how much will they give me for my P-07 Duty towards the P-01.  I was a good thing that they were a bit busy and I was able to walk away for now.  ;D

DOC 1500,  Have you tried to look at Oak Hills Guns in Ulster.  According to www.oakhillguns.com they have the non-omega P-01 at a decent price.  They also list a good selection of CZ.

What's the rush?  I'd try to keep the SP2022.

One ounce heavier.  MUCH better trigger OTB. With flat mag bases it is about the same size, and it is thinner.  To me the P07 seems thick in the frame, and the grip too skinny.
