P-09 stuff...
« on: April 28, 2017, 02:51:26 PM »
Any info on who makes a good set of suppressor height night sights? Not really sure how CZ markets these as "suppressor ready" when the sights are useless with a can attached.

Also, what are some sources of magazines at reasonable prices for these?

thnx!

If you get the smaller dia. suppressor they will be usable. Suppressor ready refers to the threaded barrel. The lower sights will be more holster friendly as well.

Do you have the urban grey model with the suppressor sights?

I have an Octane 45 and can see my sights perfectly with the suppressor height sights.

no, i have the black model with the normal, lo-pro sights. From my past experience with "suppressor ready" pistols, the sights should stand slightly higher than normal.

e.g. Glock 19, FNX 45 Tactical

If you don't have a threaded Barrel, technically it's not one of the "suppressor ready" versions.

He likely has this version of the P-09.  CZ did market it as suppressor-ready but only provided the regular sights.  I believe it was a limited production available in 2015. In 2016 it was replaced by the P-09 Urban Grey with the threaded barrel and suppressor height sight.  In 2017 they brought it back now with the suppressor sights and Plus2 base plates.

I saw a few P09's set up like that at a gun show recently.

I'll admit, I wondered why they'd sell a gun with a threaded barrel and standard height sights.

I made a WAG that maybe they figured people would want to install the suppressor sights of their choice.  One of the first things a lot of people do it have a different set of sights installed.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

That is exactly the pistol i have. You can see that the sights do not clear the suppressor.

That is the biggest problem, finding accessories such as sights for any "not glock"

Well color me surprised. I had no idea! I guess try to source some OEM suppressor-height sights?!
