"This gun is more accurate than I am"

I often heard that common phrase but I just thought it was one of those throwaway lines that doesn't really mean anything.

CZ-USA installed some night sights on my P-01 so of course I had to verify its accuracy. From seven yards I very very slowly squeezed off five shots and of course they all hit center.

Satisfied CZ's work was acceptable I had some very old Federal Hydra-Shok I wanted to get rid of, so I loaded a mag with six of them and shot them all in quick succession, basically as fast as I could, as in BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM only faster than that All six in way less than a second. Frankly I was surprised that gun could even cycle that fast. I expected most of them wouldn't even hit paper. In fact, they all did.

Then, I did it again. Six shots, probably more than a half second but definitely less than a full second.



I'm good but not that good. This gun really is better than I deserve.

I agree. I look like a sharp shooter with my CZ's. Any other pistol, my true accuracy shows. Lol

Nice shooting....I have made the same comment about my SP-01 Phantom. It raises the question are you really that accurate with all you handguns, you just shoot this one better? My 1911's I shoot ok, they just don't group as tight as my SP-01, my Sig P226 in 9mm,  groups ok, not like my CZ. For what ever reason the CZ's.......for me just seem to shoot more consistently than the others, are they more accurate, probably not. I just shoot them better. Ergonomics, sight picture, balance, trigger, who knows the combination of things that make it that way. All I know is I am glad that I have a couple of them.

Nice shooting, I have a PO-1 and really enjoy it. Right now it is the home for my Kadet till I find another CZ to put it on.

Very nice!  One of the first guns I ever shot was an MP5 that was set up by some pro instructors with a top notch RDS, and was totally psyched by how laser-precise my aim was.  Then I moved on to a handgun and then I realized it was the gun and not me haha
