P-10C Parts Diagram
« on: May 11, 2017, 02:23:02 PM »
Photo of the parts diagram in the manual that came with my P-10C.  I haven't detail stripped mine yet but I'm geeking out about the dual trigger springs and design of the trigger bar.

I removed the firing pin and case assembly this morning.  No tools required, and nothing got launched while I was disassembling.  With the slide off, slide part 19 towards the muzzle about 1/8" and then drop 18 out.  Next, release the firing pin safety block manually and slide 19 out of the slide, with the firing pin.

Yep, just like a Glock.  I meant I haven't removed the roll pins and such to get a good look at the frame internals.  Once I figure out the best order to detail strip and re-assemble I might do a video if nobody beats me to it.

That's my problem, no Glock to work with yet!  Just contacted my next door neighbor to borrow some of his spare parts so I can see if I can use a Glock spring in the CZ.

Edit--The Glock spring OD is just a little too large to let the spring move freely in the firing pin bore of the slide.  No go.

Wouldn't that be like putting a Cessna engine in an F16? LOL. Just jealous that I don't have one to play with.

I'm not a real big fan of the double trigger springs. There isn't much point but something else added that could easily break.

The TWO Cessna T-37 jet engines could get the sub-sonic "first jet" T-37 trainer off the ground nicely, but the plane didn't need oxygen or a G-suit. :)

The irony in my eyes is that the G19 Gen 4's long history (7 yrs) of BTF is the #1 reason I began looking at the P10C. Now, as I "patiently" search for a P10C, the thought of installing Glock springs in one gives me the "willies" LOL!

Nothing to fear--the Glock spring OD is 0.013" too large.  Won't fit.
