Lubricating the P-10C
« on: June 21, 2017, 09:06:23 PM »
How do you guys plan on lubricating your pistol?

I've been going by glock recommendations with a drop of oil down each slide rail and a drop over the trigger connector in the rear. I'm seeing wear marks on the slide locking block and the trigger mechanism housing that could use a little grease.

Just get some REM oil and spray it once in awhile that's all.  just keep it lubed , keep it oiled.
A lot of guys use Mobil 1 motor oil.

CLP on the rails and barrel. A small extra drop of CLP on any shiny spots.

(I'm currently using Breakfree CLP on my P-10c, although I used OTIS O-85 CLP on the pre-release loaner P-10c)

Same as the rest of my pistols in the summer, a little Slide Glide Lite on the rails and barrel and at the contact point of the striker and trigger bar, a little oil in the frame parts.  Clean the chamber and ramp thoroughly along with the breech face every 500-1000 rounds and a few patches down the barrel.  Clean the magazines every month or so.
