Let's get back to talking about P-07's and P-09's which is where this section of the Forum started.

I'll play!  I have two steel targets on steel posts in my back yard, 50 yards off my deck.  One is a 12 1/2" X 20" half silhouette and one is a 9" round plate.

Most days when I get home from work, I'll say "ONE SHOT!" and take my favorite CZ (P-09) out back and take one shot, free hand.  If I hit, it's a good day.  I usually hit about 4 out of 5. 

My P-07 is the one of five CZ 9mms that I have that I think I shoot the worst.  A couple of weeks ago, I went and dug it out of my truck to run a little ammo through it.

I hit 5 for 5 standing, free hand on the 12 1/2" X 20".  That's actually a little better than I normally do. 

You just can't underestimate the little P-07.  Great guns!

I try not to have ideas - they frighten people...

I am very fond of my P-09, and it works perfectly. I need to get it out more.



We did combine things a bit - we had a zillion subforums when I took over the board, and it tended to make searching very difficult. This was yet another compromise, and like all compromises...it works imperfectly.

I know the "new gun" gets all the attention but gosh I am sick of hearing about it.

P-07 and P-09 are underrated firearms for sure and those that constantly bring up the consistent trigger pull of any striker fired gun against a DA/SA has never spent much time behind one or put in any effort to learn it.

If you like the "sproiiinng" sound and feel of a striker over a smooth DA pull followed by a series of light, crisp DA pulls than the other gun is best for you.

I had my P-07 Milled for a red dot sight and the first indoor match I shot with it I came in 4 out of 16, and I am an old guy with bad eyes.

Pfft, when guys bring up the debate to me about modern striker-fire pistols having a consistent trigger pull for every shot, I just bring up my good ol' DAO's. Hey, it's a consistent trigger pull for every shot! [emoji23]

Striker fired guns are lowest common denominator tools. Sometimes you need a tool that anyone can use without thought, research or training.  IMHO, that's not the kind of thing I can build a hobby around. I can't relate to a guy that wants to buy a plastic pistol that works "ok" and then tells everyone else how it's perfect. I hope CZ sells a billion P-10's, enough that they get their own forum so I can avoid it. I also hope they continue to make and develop really nice hammer fired pistols. Otherwise, I'll move along to another brand.
