Tristar S-120
« on: July 26, 2017, 02:01:35 PM »
I just picked up a chrome S-120, used, from a local shop. It came with the box, paperwork, brush, etc. When I got it home I realized that the 2 mags are unmarked and have black followers. Shouldn't this have MecGars  with blue followers? It's used, not telling what the last owner did with it. It's in very good shape, needs a little cleaning.
I won't be able to get to the range for a few days. I hope the mags don't give me any trouble. I'll be looking for MecGars I guess.
I've found that growing up in the sixties was a lot more fun than being in my sixties.

I just did some cleaning(it really needed it). There's just nothing like the sound of a steel slide on a steel frame. It's a special kind of music.

For what it's worth my S120 is the same as yours, cerakote chrome, and it came with blue followers in the mags.

And yes, the sound of steel frame gun's action is so much nicer than the polymer framed guns.  Love em.
