Decocker problem on P-09
« on: August 02, 2017, 05:13:48 AM »
When I decock the hammer it falls all the way to the firing pin. I'm thinking one of two things either the de-cocking hook on the hammer is too smooth and not catching the sear  or the sear spring needs a stronger spring. Everything in this pistol has been polished, 15 lb hammer spring, reduced trigger return spring..
 Any help is appreciated

Have you change the decocker for the safety? Or is the original configuration?

Why don't you just give David a call at CGW. You know he'll be able to tell the problem right away.
