CZ P07 Suppressor Ready IWB
« on: August 08, 2017, 04:07:17 PM »
I'm a pretty lean guy so IWB is already a limitation for me... but am I being too hopeful in wanting to use the CZ P07 Suppressor Ready as an IWB carry? TBH, I will pretty much never carry, and it's primarily a home defense gun so the suppressor is attractive. I realize its length is pretty much the same as a full size.

Should I just suck it up and go with a P07 or P10C? Realistically I don't see a suppressor within the next 5 years for me.

I carry a comped G19 with an RDS AIWB.....it's basically the length of a G34, and I have no issues with comfort or the ability to conceal it.

In my experience the length is not as important for IWB carry as the height.  The suppressor ready version has a slightly longer barrel but should make much of a difference.  Perhaps for AIWB it might make some difference, but for me I carry a P-07 at 4 o'clock and it conceals well.  Sometimes I carry the P-09 and I can't notice the length difference but the grip does print more.  The best way to see what works for you is to give it a try.  Even a "sticky" holster will give you an idea before you invest in a more expensive holster.

I won the raffle from High Noon Holsters so I'm trying to pick right the first time haha

I can't imagine suppressor height sights really making that big of a difference then increasing the height of the P07 vs a standard P07. Is there a difference in comfort between the P09 and P07?

I'm about 5'5" between 135-140lbs
I have no issue carrying a CZ P-07 with RMR.

Before I was carrying a G17, then I was carrying a G17 chopped to take 19 mags, then I remembered I had a P07 fell back in love with the thing. The "I can't carry this" "or "this will cause issues" is mostly a mental block, once you actually find the right holster/belt / ride height you will see it's actually not difficult at all
