HB Industries P10 trigger
« on: August 29, 2017, 06:24:23 PM »
HBI has introduced their flat trigger for the P10.
The flat face gives the trigger a nice feel and I the safety bar clears the frame better for me than the factory.
There are two striker springs that come with the kit.

HBI has an install video

and a video showing their drop test.

That's awesome!  And in typical HBI fashion it's also reasonably priced.

The install looks to be pretty straight forward and simple. The P10 seems to be easy to work on.

My P10 trigger ( without a gauge) feels to be between 5/6 lbs but it breaks good. I might be interested in getting to 4 1/2# but I haven't shot my gun much. I'd like to get 5/600 rounds through it to see how much the trigger will be reduced in pounds, it may be perfect.

The HB trigger looks to be good and the take up is less than the CZ trigger.

At $65 it's reasonable. So I'll see.

I ordered one.
I have done trigger jobs, changed spring, components and polished to get a better trigger but I have never been one to change the trigger.

But the one thing I don't like about my P10 is the way the trigger/safety lever feels on my finger and the long take up.

This trigger supposedly addresses both of those issues and is still legal to use in IDPA CCP as I have a sanctioned match coming up in two weeks.

bleep it I folded after the video and ordered one too.  I sanded down the face of the factory trigger safety so it was flush but can still feel it after an extended shooting session.  That is my only issue with the CZ. I do prefer a metal trigger so I can't wait to try this one out.  David

How is trigger reach length with the HB trigger? Hope it is just the same as with the factory. What I wish addressed is the possibility of pushing the trigger safety slightly sideways, which makes it hard for the back of the trigger safety to go into the frame and creates a dangerous "bump". Hope the new trigger addresses this fully. Thanks for the advice.

Here is a comparison between the trigger and factory.

Thank you Stuart. Looks like the trigger reach might be the same as factory. 8) Thinking of a package fiber front sight/black rear+black HB trigger... Does CZ Custom offer such a package?

The dingus goes flat against the trigger in at the end of the stroke? that's one tiny disagreement I have with my P-10C. Looks very nice, but gold.....

Probably gonna get one. Ooh, purple trigger w/ the Hello Kitty slide plate.
Seriously it looks like it'll get rid of the plastic rub I feel on the trigger barely rubbing the frame.
Quick question, Is the safety bar still plastic, or is it aluminum also?

R.O.s might like the standout "Gold" trigger too.
