Note the “circle T” proof marks on the barrel and on the dimple at the top of the trigger guard. That’s a military proof. As Tok36 indicated, it has the features of a BD Police except for the ambi-safety. The BD was accepted by the Czech army in limited usage by military police/security units although the Glock 17 is the normal carry pistol for military police these days. This could have been a small batch of these pistols with the safety instead of decocker.

Here’s an enlargement of one of timmy75’s photos to show the proofs plus a Phantom with the similar military proof and a 75 B/BD with Hogue rubber grips sometimes seen on CZ 75s of the period.

Hey Tim
Can't say for certain, but I'd say Military / Service Return
The 85 style Lower, "d" style Mag Release, and Lanyard Ring, all under a 75 Upper ?
Doesn't look to have any Import Markings
It says "B" on the Slide, but does it actually have the Firing Pin Block in it ?

My biggest question is how does that CZ-75 has forward slide serrations? I thought that was only a feature on the current CZ handguns.

Here’s the 2007 publication from the Czech Ministry of Defence showing this particular configuration.

Metal Wonder Nine...there were was a lot of different configurations tried out by CZUB on the full frame as well as the compacts during the late 90s-early 2000s.

A classic 90s beauty, Blackwatch. Interesting how the “grain” shows up in the serrations in the photo.

My Pre-Bs

1985 CZ 75 (edited had year as 84 it is 85) - Picked up last month - I believe it has not been fired since the factory.  Looks to still have factory grease on it - I made the first marks on the magazine (mag that came with it will only work in this pre-B and not my other 2) and it had hardly any markings on it from racking the slide till I got it :P ...I'm going to clean it and take it to the range soon.  The import mark is painted on, not engraved and painted.

1990 CZ 75 - no import markings

1991 CZ 85

On the two I have shot (well all 3) I have not changed any springs or anything..just the Lokgrips on the CZ 85.

1984 CZ 75 - Picked up last month - I believe it has not been fired since the factory.

Will be interested to know how shooting the '84 "feels" compared to the others - the early pre-B's tend to be creamy smooth! Just watch the enamel finish - it's quite brittle and chips easily. Envious of your 1990 - I don't have one of those...yet (WIP).

I like the pistol stand - curious how you came by that!

Thanks for sharing  :)
