Please thank a veteran today. Thank them for the very fact that you are able to read this , that you are able to worship as you please, to live in peace, to have guns, and to talk to each other as we are doing now.
Thank them for their sarcrifices past , present, and future. From Normandy beaches past to the caves of Afghanistan , the sands of Iraq present, to the the DMZ in North/South Korea where they stand. Thank them all and thank them good.
Without them, there would be no us. Thats pretty much all I have to say on the matter. This holiday is critically important. , this holiday is the most important of all "thanks-giving", so give thanks to a veteran.

Unfortunately on 11-11 a lot of people have forgotten 9-11 already.  A lot of sacrifice by a few for the many.  Rightly or wrongly that is the price we pay for our system of liberty...having to fight so those who would disagree or burn the flag are free to do so with no sacrifice or involvement on their part.  Remembering the veterans of yesterday is fine but the past is history.  More importantly let's give our support to those serving as we sit here in the comfort of our homes.  If you see someone who is in uniform today stop for a moment and say "thanks for serving" or shake their hand.  It will make it all worth while for them.
