Scope and rings for 452

Just picked up a 452 Lux with iron sights. It shoots wonderful. I shoot indoors weekly with a group at an indoor range.  Also a member of outdoor range with 100 and 200 yard targets. I would like to add a scope and rings to the 452 with out having to remove the iron sights. I would only use the scope every now and them so don't mind having to re-zero it each time. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Warne QD rings and a scope that is no longer than 10.5-11".

Weaver RV-7 or RV-9 is a good choice.

I do like the Warne QD rings. I'd likely need more than 7 or 9x, at 200 yds, if the target was anything but a large steel gong.

A guy at our range has turned me on to the Nikon Prostaff Target EFR.  It's 3-9x40 with an adjustable objective that will go down to 10 meters and obviously up to infinity.

It's designed for rimfire and air rifles, with a plex reticle with the tiniest dot in the center.

What type of targets will you be shooting out at that distance?

The right answer is you need another rifle dedicated to scope use.  . The American or Silohette stock is designed just for that. Sadly I know where you are coming from. I used my Trainer for dual use until my eyes just don't focus on open sights. My scope setup was high to clear the sights and I used a stock pack to raise the checkweld. I use the Warne or Burris QR rings. You might consider using a DIP conversion rail so you can use Picatinny rings.

Thanks to all for your comments and suggestions. After thinking about it, at the end of the day, as AZ_CS suggests the best answer that will make me happy is dedicated rifles. I will start a search for a second rifle and use the information that you all have provided to get a scope for it. Meanwhile I will continue my weekly shooting with iron sights.

If that is the case, look into the Burris Signature Zee rings with the inserts.

They protect the scope, and can help with a long range zero as they offer inserts up to +20 moa.

I am looking at this scope for my 452 Trainer. What rings go with this set-up?
I am also looking at a 512 semi-automatic or the American. Got rid of the 10/22 take-down, never liked it.

 I installed bkl rings on my 452 trainer and a 6x20 Nikon, all my other 22's use bkl rings also.

The specs state 11.25 for the RV-9. Which Size QD rings will fit? Do you have this set-up?

Leupold efr 3x9x33 with Burris signature zee rings and J&P adapter.

Thanks for the post and thoughts. This is the same issue that I am faced with; weekly shoots at 50' in the winter and 50-200 yrd in the summer. I am just starting and doing it for fun. I was really considering the 455 Lux, but this very week I came to the same conclusion as you: I should plan on a dedicated rifle for each type of event/shooting and an high powered scope on one. I am yet to buy my first CZ; I think it will either be the American stock with two calibers/barrels, or the Varmint and buy a 17cal barrel separate.  Right now I am considering scopes.  Some of the fellas with expensive setups are very expensive shooting 43 power, but I am not ready for that expense and limited use for just bench shooting. I am looking at the Vortex II 6-24x50 AO so I can dial down to the 50' or out to 200 yards and use it for hunting.  I plan continue to use my Colt Walther M4 for the iron sight shoots until such a time as I spring for something better. Any thoughts?

I mounted a DIP 25 moa rail and then the Burris High dee zee rings and left rear sight intact.

i have the high  warne qd rings .... nice steel...they are what CZ recommends .....
