Thank of you!  This might be all I need to tighten that HK tri lug adapter. But with the price of this and the adapter I am about 1/2 to the price if the 5.3" tri lug bbl. I need the two points and would like the shorter bbl. My.45 Silencerco with the adapter is pretty long.

This is cool too.

I thanks. Their price is a little better than ILWT but his is in stock and they will engrave my info on the  bbl which I need for making my SBR. https://www.inleadwetrust.com/collections/cz-scorpion-evo-iii/products/scorpion-evo-micro-3-lug-1-2-28-tpi-custom-barrel-trunnion

So your using the engraving on the barrel for the SBR information instead of on the receiver? I thought that had to be in plain sight, instead of under the rail. I really like the idea, just wasn't sure if it was proper. It's not like inside the trigger guard of my ar15 SBR is any more visible.

Good point. It should be visible through the habdguard. On my AR SBR'S it's on the front of the magwell. This is the requirement:  "The manufacturer, importer, or maker must legibly and conspicuously place on the frame, receiver, barrel, or pistol slide (if applicable) his/her own name (or
recognized abbreviation) and location (city and State, or recognized abbreviation of the State) as specified under his/her Federal firearms license (if a licensee);"

I think I goofed!  I just took the hand guard off my pistol.

I have a 5.3" 3 lug bbl on the way. I paid more for this dang  pistol because I wanted this rail to cover my suppressor. My new bbl is going to be to short for the locking nut!  Looks like I need to buy another rail.

Dang It!

I don't think there is a way to modify the handguard to work with the shorter bbl.

That seems to cover the markings for the SBR just fine, as long as the engraving meets the proper specs:
0.003" minimum depth
0.0625" (1/16") minimum text height

As far as your rail goes, the ILWT barrels are meant to use an HBI rail which have their own mounting trunion that attaches to the base of the barrel. The rail atteches to this. It doesn't use the stock barrel nut or it's retaining mechanism.

Yeah a light bulb went off last night and I realized that my set up wouldn't work. Now to decide which length hand guard.

What length handguard do you guys prefer?  Part of me wants to go with the shortest option. But some length would be good too!  I think of I'll get the micro first and I'll probably add another later.
