I got one a few months back and have only been able to shoot it once. My wife had back surgery two months ago, so have not been able to get out to the range.
Mine was typical of the other two CZ rifles I have , one another 527 and one a 550 Safari American, being a bit rough. A little careful stoning of sharp edges on bolt locking lugs and polishing did wonders. The stock on mine has some nice, not exceptional wood, a light honey color, that looked like it had little or no finish when I got it, which was ok with me as I got to put on an old style oil/wax finish that I like.
My initial outing was not all that great, it was very hot and humid, so bad that sweat was constantly running into my eyes making it hard to shoot, plus I did not have the qd scope rings set quite right. Using some factory Wolfe ammo for a first time I was getting groups around 1.5-1.75", not bad considering the conditions and my state of mind with the heat.
