Do any of you happen to know anything about the Taurus PT145 Millenium .45acp pistols? I am looking for first or second-hand information on these. I am already aware that Taurus 'upgraded' the series to PRO; which supposedly addresses the cracked frames, loosened slide rails, and bent internals of the earlier models. I am interested in finding out how much their warranty coverage actually covers. When these fubars were sent back to Taurus, were the customers given the upgraded PTs? Or were faulty components reissued to these customers? Then were those less unfortunate told that they were now in possession of a misengineered IED? Lets hope not. (You can probably tell that I have more than a few encounters with defective merchandise, either with substandard materials, haphazard construction or both!) Anyway, your feedback is most welcomed. Thanks, [\TK]

KPIII, a regular participant here, seems to be familiar with them.  Maybe he'll chime in.
