An old friend returns
« on: March 28, 2006, 01:38:26 PM »
Bought one of these back in the early nineties, used.  Became my favorite revolver ever, before or since.  Like a knucklehead, I later saw something I wanted more at the moment, and sold it- I've regretted it ever since.
I've been looking for one ever since, and had a dang hard time finding one just like it. (3"barrel in Stainless)
Well, today I found it, gentlemen.  I probably paid too much ($750.00) but I felt like I'd found a long lost child.  I love the feel of this big, fat, stubby bastard in my big paw.

Congrats.  It's always great to reunite with one of your all time favorites.   Looks nice.

Hello.  V E R Y nice and congratulations on meeting up with your "old friend."  I, too, am a fan of the .44 Special.

Best.

There are certain S&W revolvers that are works of art.  That's one of them.
